Spotlight On West Hollywood
On Tuesday, April 20, The London West Hollywood's Gordon Ramsay restaurant,
Catherine Malandrino Maison, ARCADE by Rochelle Gores, and STK hosted concierges
from Beverly Hills, Century City, West Hollywood and LACA Board members for a VIP
night. Festivities began at Gordon Ramsay's restaurant where executive chef Anthony
Keene wowed guests with rainbow trout caviar bites, a selection of California caviar
& buckwheat blinis, barbequed eel rolls, spicy tuna rolls & wasabi tobiko
and an assortment of canapes. Veuve Clicquot and Perrier-Jouet champagne were free-flowing
along with plentiful pourings of sake. General Manager Vincent Mercurio was on hand to
meet guests and raffled off a one night's stay at The London along with a seven-course
dinner paired with wine. Concierges parted with London gift bags filled with sweet treats
and cocktail certificates to use at a future date. Beverly Hills Rent a Car shuttled guests
in its Rolls Royce Phantom and Ghost along with a couple of passenger vans to each location.
At the Catherine Malandrino Maison concierges were treated to Pizzeria Mozza slices of
gourmet pizza while director of Retail Operations Kevin Ottati and Store Manager Jennifer
Leeser gave guests an overview on Catherine Malandrino's lines and philosophy. A $500.00
Malandrino gift certificate went to guest relations manager Goran Ljubinovic of the Palos
Verdes Inn. Each guest also took home a Malandrino gift bag with a $100 shopping certificate
and a copy of Malandrino's 2010 Fashion Look Book. At ARCADE by Rochelle Gores guests were
welcomed by Rochelle Gores and treated to wine pourings by San Antonio Winery's Dante Colombotti
and cupcakes by Daniella Schwartz of Famous Cupcakes. At STK marketing and communications director
Emily Olsen treated guests to champagne cocktails sponsored by Moet Chandon and executive chef Larry
Greenwood prepared dessert bites including mini coffee toffee ice cream sandwiches, hazelnut crunch
cakes and crispy caramel cakes. STK raffled off a dining certificate for two and a bottle of wine
that went to Luis Mendoza of the InterContinental Century City and Beverly Hills Rent a Car raffled
off a three day Mercedes rental that went to David Jackson of the SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills.
