Les Clefs d'Or "The Art of the Concierge"
On Monday, October 5, Les Clefs d'Or USA and the Los Angeles Concierge Association
organized a full day program entitled "The Art of the Concierge." The educational
program was spearheaded by Les Clefs d'Or Director of Membership Jerome Jeannest of
the InterContinental Los Angeles and Director of Concierge Relations Rick Castaneda
of the Beverly Wilshire. More than 100 concierges and front line staff were reintroduced
to concierge veteran Holly Stiel's service philosophy at the Four Season Los Angeles' Orchid
Ballroom. The educational seminar was moderated by Les Clefs d'Or and Assistant General
Secretary Shujaat Khan of the Capital Hilton Hotel and Les Clefs d'Or Foundation of the Americas
Ginny Thomason of the Grand Hyatt Washington. Concierges then had time to unwind at the SLS
Beverly Hills' rooftop with cocktails and appetizers hosted by General Manager Philip Dailey
and Chef Concierge Waldo Hernandez.
