Provecho Restaurant & Remdy Lounge "Minsky's"
On Wednesday, February 4, WHERE Los Angeles kicked off its event season with a
pre-performance party at the new modern Mexican hotspot Provecho Restaurant &
Remedy Lounge. Proprietor and Executive Chef Gabriel Morales and Catering &
Events Director, Natalie Davis impressed about 200 hotel professionals and guests
with ceviche platters and signature tastings such as kobe beef soft tacos, mini
pork taquitos, duck sopes and specialty cocktails including the Provecho margarita
made with Cazadores Blanco tequila and also the spicy La Sancha cocktail. Chef Gabriel
raffled off a chef's dinner tasting for two paired with wine or his personally picked
artisan tequilas. The Grammy Museum's Tracy Strann invited concierges to visit the new
music museum at L.A. Live and then raffled off a full year's membership. The Los Angeles
Philharmonic's Beth Levitin addressed the group and gave away tickets for two to catch the
Vienna Philharmonic play Walt Disney Concert Hall in March. And Center Theatre Group's Jim
Royce gave a quick synopsis of the racy new musical comedy "Minsky's." Beverly Hills Rent-A-Car
provided transportation services with their fully-loaded luxury passenger vans.
