Wolfgang Puck LA Bistro
On Wednesday, February 18, Wolfgang Puck LA Bistro, downtown at Hope and 6th,
hosted an intimate group of hotel and corporate concierges in for its Wine Wednesdays
series. Guests were personally welcomed in by Vice President of Operations, Steve Skoien
and Marketing Coordinator, Doreen Elyassian, and were given the VIP treatment with handpicked
wine pourings and passed appetizers such as grilled beef satay, tuna tartare and chinois chicken
salad. Chef Karl Matz impressed the group with a specially prepared menu that offered a choice of
a boneless braised short rib pot roast or seared tuna served with honey-glazed carrots, Blue Lake
green beans and a four-cheese macaroni. Desserts included crˆ©me brulee with berries, a warm cinnamon
apple crisp and a warm Belgian chocolate brownie served with ice cream. Each concierge was given a
parting media packet that included two gift cards to return and enjoy a gourmet Wolfgang Puck meal.
