ART AND DINE AROUND DOWNTOWN
On Thursday, May 15, WHERE Magazine drew San Diego concierges to the
Gaslamp Quarter for a dine around with a touch of art. The evening began
at EXY Restaurant with blue martinis and gourmet hors d’Äô oeuvres and artwork
from Shorelines Gallery. Concierges then moved onto Osetra Watergrill/E5 Lounge
where they were able to taste authentic Italian apertivos while observing one of
Exclusive Collections favorite artists Michael C. put the finishing touches on one
of his new paintings. Red Circle was the next stop on the tour where specialty
champagne cocktails, bacon wrapped scallops and ribeye wrapped asparagus were
served. Celebration Fine Art Gallery hosted the closing reception and offered
coffee and desserts catered by The Grant Grill. The highlight of the evening was
an original painting by Octavio Ocampo raffled off to lucky guest Theresa Hill at
the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines.
